Here's an old painting I did way back in the Fall of 2005 for the Acts Of Sedition side of our split 12" with (Reno, Nevada's) Bafabegiya. I was trying to achieve a sort of epic, chaotic old school punk album illustration, with lots of scariness and confusion. Landmarks from the Oakland skyline decay beneath a blood red sky. A giant mass of heads piles up in the foreground. Were they too colorful to be taken seriously, in retrospect? The ominous figure in the center tears up a document. Obviously a contract with society or life that has failed. The circle behind the head was supposed to be a black void, but some have though it was a Spanish missionary hat or something.
